*Hundreds of former SDP members joins PDP in Ikpoba-Okha*

Hundreds of former members of the Social Democratic Party has abandoned the SDP to join the PDP in Ikpoba-Okha.
The former SDP members who expressed their admiration for the Asue-Ogie collabo, were indoctrinated into the PDP by the Party's Vice Chairman, Ikpoba-Okha, Pst. Paul Osazuwa, on Tuesday at the LGA Secretariat, Upper Sakponba Road, Benin City.
They expressed determination to work for Asue-Ogie victory, noting that since 1999, there has never been a pair as formidable as Asue-Ogie.
The defectors were immediately issued PDP membership cards, and handed over to their various Ward Chairmen for further processing; they also got the Asue-Ogie decoration, brandishing various campaign paraphernalia belonging to the AiO² brand.
Leader of the delegation, Mr. Benson Okuse, who spoke for the decampees, appreciated the Party for the warm reception; Okuse noted that they have watched the Asue-Ogie movement from a distance, and it became necessary to join the movement, considering the character, capacity and competence Asue-Ogie has shown in their various fields.
"We are very happy and proud to be associated with the Asue-Ogie brand in Ikpoba-Okha; we will work extra hard to ensure victory for PDP/Asue-Ogie this September", he added.
Director General of the Ikpoba-Okha Campaign Council, Pst. Blessed Ighiwiyisi, alongside other members of the Council were on ground to receive the group; who charged the defectors to fall back to their Wards ffor further propagation of the Asue-Ogie movement.
Vice Chairman of Ikpoba-Okha local government, Hon. Osamuyi Idehen, Leader of the Legislative Arm, Hon. Kingsley Balogban, and a host of other Party functionaries joined the campaign council members to receive the decampees on Tuesday.
