Urhokpota Reporters investigative journalism has again revealed that Adams Oshiomhole wasted over 600 million naira to acquire Agidigbi house and other landed properties at Ring road, Benin city.
Agidigbi House was the big storey building at Ring Road that used to house Lennard. Later it became a market for the sales of used clothes.
Oshiomhole also acquired the building opposite Urhokpota Hall, including the Petrol station beside it.
Adams Oshiomhole acquired the buildings in the name of Edo State and destroyed them.
Many years after the acquisition, the land is now a motor park thereby destroying the economic means of the traders who occupied the area then.
The irony of the matter is that the land was taken away from their owners in the name of government needed to use the land but through the back door, Oshiomhole has gone to acquire the property using proxies.
