As prominent leaders of the PDP gather to insist on the recovery of the stolen mandate of the PDP by the erstwhile Adams Oshiomole Edo State government, different opinions and views were expressed by people in the group.
Various speakers including Hon. Daniel Asekhame spoke at the gathering which took place at the Mandate Recovery Group launching expressed disdain at the gross impunity at which the gone governor of Edo state and the "Iyamo Puff Daddy" Oshiomole mismanaged the state and rigged the election in favor of his stooge Goidwin Obaseki.
Hon. Asekhame speaking to news men said he does not recognize Obaseki as governor of Edo state and that the swearing in going on at the time was just a charade till the courts say otherwise. Agreeing with him a PDP chieftain Jarrette Tenebe said the whole show of shame was a drain on the Edo tax payers resources.

It was further divulged that the forensic team investigating the INEC results as ordered by the election tribunal in Edo state has come out with findings that PDP won the elections with close to 70% and won the totality of Oredo local government and environs in particular. With this, one is left to speculate on the duration of the tenure of Obaseki as governor of Edo state as the case is already in court.
