The traders union of the Evbareke Spare Parts Market in Benin City have declined to receive the campaign train of the All Progressives Congress stating that they have already pledged their loyalty to the PDP candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.
In a face saving mission, the leadership of the All Progressives Congress imported the leaders of little known National Automobiles Technicians Association (NATA) who received a bribe of one coaster bus plus 500,000 naira for them to come out and endorse Obaseki.
In the live telecast, the borrowed crowd at the spare parts market were observed to be cold and unenthusiastic.
The Egor Community Development Association who were invited were not present. They said they have already endorsed Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu. A man who was presented as the reps of the association spoke on their behalf but the Secretary of the association who spoke to Urhokpota Reporters on telephone denounced the rep as a suspended member.
“We in EDA have endorsed the PDP. That man who said he is representing us is a liar. We have suspended him last week because he is the Judas in our development association” the Secretary said.
