Another meeting of the APC held in Leventis, Sakponba road Thursday between 7pm to 9pm was to strategise the APC modus operandi for the elections. At the meeting, the APC state caucus agreed on areas they will disrupt the elections. Specifically, they mentioned areas in Oredo, Ikpoba-Okha and Egor LGAs in Edo South. They also earmarked Esan Central, Owan East and Owan West LGAs during election.
When contacted the PDP strong man from Owam west and Chairman of the PDP youth mobilization committee Hon. Daniel Asekhame had this to say "APC should bring it on we are ready. We have educated our supporters and youths to shun all forms of election irregularities and to avoid heating up nthe polity but the APC keeps involving thuggery, intimidation and outright violence in all aspects of it's campaign. They have gone from postponing election dates to harassing and arresting PDP members to attacking PDP campaign convoys and we have been quiet. I want to hereby warn the APC that army officers are the epitome of gentlemen yet they are the masters of violence. The PDP will not stand by and watch it's rights ripped away by a bunch of hooligans. A word is enough for the wise"
