BAT’s 4/4 Renewed Hope Agenda Backs Tinubu’s Re-Election Bid, Applauds Administration’s Achievements
A prominent APC support group, BAT’s 4/4 Renewed Hope Agenda, has openly declared its full support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, while applauding what it described as the remarkable achievements of his Renewed Hope administration.
The group made this known during a press conference held in Abuja on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, shortly after its National Executive Meeting. Addressing journalists, the Director General of the group, Engr. Daniel Ohiomoba, praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he termed bold and transformative leadership that has repositioned Nigeria on the path of growth and sustainable development.
According to Engr. Ohiomoba, less than three years into the administration, President Tinubu has demonstrated capacity, competence, and courage in implementing reforms aimed at stabilizing the economy and restoring national confidence.
“Our group, BAT’s 4/4 Renewed Hope Agenda, applauds the unprecedented growth and development Nigeria is witnessing under the Renewed Hope administration,” he said. “The President has not only restored hope but has also laid a solid foundation for long-term prosperity.”
He maintained that the administration’s policies have positively impacted various sectors of the economy, including manufacturing, ICT, infrastructure, and small-scale enterprises. He further noted improvements in key economic indicators such as GDP growth, a reduction in inflationary pressures, moderated interest rates, and a more stable exchange rate.
The group also commended the President’s foreign policy direction, stating that Nigeria’s global standing has improved significantly. According to the DG, renewed diplomatic engagements have strengthened international partnerships and attracted foreign investments, enhancing Nigeria’s reputation among leading nations.
As part of its declaration, BAT’s 4/4 Renewed Hope Agenda formally endorsed President Tinubu for a second term in office in 2027. The group described the forthcoming election as an opportunity for Nigerians to consolidate on the gains of the Renewed Hope agenda.
“We are unequivocally declaring our total support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027,” Engr. Ohiomoba stated. “Continuity is essential to fully realize the transformative vision already set in motion. The progress made so far must not be reversed.”
The group also congratulated several governors from opposition parties who recently joined the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing their defection as a testament to the growing confidence in the President’s leadership and national agenda.
Among those acknowledged were Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State, Peter Mbah of Enugu State, Douye Diri of Bayelsa State, Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State, and Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State.
The DG noted that their decision to align with the APC was influenced by the visible developmental strides and reform-driven governance under President Tinubu, adding that national unity and political collaboration are crucial for sustained economic growth.
In his remarks, the group’s National Adviser, Otunba James Uduak Udoma, called on all state, local government, and ward coordinators of the support group to intensify grassroots mobilization efforts. He urged members nationwide to actively participate in the ongoing APC membership e-registration exercise and to work closely with the party structure to strengthen support ahead of 2027.
Concluding the address, Engr. Ohiomoba appealed to Nigerians across political divides to rally behind the President, emphasizing that collective support is necessary to ensure lasting political stability and economic prosperity.
“With unity, continuity, and commitment, Nigeria will achieve greater heights. The Renewed Hope agenda must continue beyond 2027,” he affirmed.
