An assassination attempt on the life of a PDP stalwart and strong man in the Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu Campaign Organisation, Emperor Jarret Tenebe, has been foiled on the way between Elele and Iyahmoh (Oshiomhole’s village) .
According to Tenebe, he was driving in his new bullet proof car from Elele to Iyahmoh in Etsako West LGA when the incident happened.
On the way between Oshiomhole’s village and the village of an ally of the governor, Pius Akpai, a commissioner in a federal board, who has threatened his life on several occasions, a car having Edo State government car plate number cornered his car and opened fire on him.
The car was shot at several times but he was lucky that it was a bullet proof car. He was able to escape to safety.
The matter has been reported to the Police.
